One routine from each 2026 Holiday Dance Classic will be selected for our Holiday Featured Routine Showcase—a special mid-day performance designed to bring even more entertainment, excitement and holiday magic to the event.
Following our Candy Cane Lane Teacher Pink Carpet, the competition will pause as the selected routine takes the stage with custom pre-produced video backgrounds and enhanced production elements created to complement the performance.
This is more than an additional performance—it’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to transform your routine into an extra-special showcase moment for everyone in attendance!
One featured routine will be selected at each Holiday Dance Classic. Each selected routine will receive:
The routine will perform once during the Featured Routine Showcase and again in its regularly scheduled competition category.
Yes! The featured routine will still compete normally and remain fully eligible for adjudication, placements and overalls.
The competition judges will not be present during the Featured Routine Showcase and will not be told which routine was selected. When the routine competes later in the event, the judges will have no knowledge of its participation in the showcase, ensuring it is evaluated fairly alongside every other routine.
Selection for the showcase will not influence the routine’s scores, placements or overall results.

Solos and duet/trios are not eligible for this opportunity.
The submitted routine must also be registered to compete at the applicable Holiday Dance Classic.
Each studio may submit one or multiple routines for consideration.
The Holiday Featured Routine Showcase is a special event feature—not an adjudicated dance award.
Members of the Showstopper headquarters team will review all eligible submissions as a committee and select the routine they believe will create the strongest overall showcase moment. The selection will not be based on traditional competition judging or technical scoring.

The routine does not need to be fully polished at the time of submission.
Rehearsal footage is welcome, and costumes, completed staging and final formations are not required. The committee is looking for the creativity, concept, energy and potential behind the routine.
The routine performed at the Holiday Dance Classic must remain the same as the routine submitted for consideration. Normal polishing, cleaning and staging adjustments may be made before the event.
