The top competitive-level soloists from each regional competition are selected to receive the honor of being named a Showstopper All-Star. All-Star Dancers are invited to perform in the Opening Number at any Showstopper Finals, which kicks off our live championship event, The America Loves to Dance Awards.
The Opening Number gives dancers an incredible opportunity to showcase their talent, dedication, and love of dance. Selected All-Stars rehearse and perform alongside dancers from across the country while working with one of the dance industry’s top choreographers.
Over three nights of rehearsals, dancers experience what it’s like to work as a professional, coming together to create a performance unlike anything they’ve done before. Many leave with lasting friendships and memories that extend far beyond the stage.
If you received an All-Star certificate on stage during awards, congratulations! You are eligible to perform in the 2026 Opening Number at Finals.
To participate, log in to your Dancer Hub account on goshowstopper.com and complete the submission form under the Opening Number tab. (If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one using your dancer’s name and birthday.)
Studio owners can also view the submission details and form within their studio account. Please review all requirements carefully, as all forms and information must be submitted by June 7, 2026 to be eligible.

Showstopper All-Stars are the top-scoring competitive soloists from each regional competition in the Junior, Teen, and Senior Competitive Divisions.
The number of All-Stars selected at each event is based on total entries:
Up to 900 entries: Top 4 scoring soloists
Over 900 entries: Top 6 scoring soloists
Over 2,000 entries: Top 8 scoring soloists
Over 2,500 entries: Top 10 scoring soloists
